Overview
Digital Advertising has become a core pillar of every marketing department. To define clear and sophisticated advertising strategies is crucial to every successful business. The industry is in need of talents that understand the technical requirements but are also capable of driving business focused digital advertising strategies.
This course will provide the students with a depth of knowledge on digital advertising - how to plan, execute and analyse campaigns. We will also focus on business driven digital advertising and marketing strategy development.
Learning highlights
- The objective of this course is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the planning and buying circle for paid advertising across all digital channels.
- The course will lay the foundation to help develop advertising strategies, to be able to buy media across multiple channels, to understand the role of advertising within digital marketing and to be able to evaluate and assess end to end execution processes.
- Whether the student is interested in working for a media or creative agency, seeking a career in digital marketing or simply wants to advertise his or her own product, this course will provide the skill sets they need to run an end to end digital media campaign.
- In week 1 and 2 the classes will be held as seminars, which require the students to be active and participatory (presentations and problem based learning). In the 3rd week the students will need to apply their learnings to develop an end to end media strategy (including final presentation).
