Overview

A short film is one of the best ways to launch a startup. It’s the fastest and easiest way to communicate what your startup is, and it’s the fastest and easiest way for people to understand what your startup is. With a film, there’s nothing for people to read. All they have to do is press play. That’s why you see these types of films everywhere, from Kickstarter pages, to pitch decks, to websites. But being able to clearly articulate what your startup does in a simple way that everyone can understand can be difficult. There’s a bit of an art to creating a film that summarises how the technology works, how to use it, and how it can help people. In this course, you’ll learn how to create one that does it all.

Learning highlights

  • How to write a film script that clearly communicates what your startup does
  • How to turn that script into a basic storyboard and then a rough edit
  • How to create a polished launch film for your startup that’s ready for play
