
Amir Kassaei

Born in Iran, raised in Austria, and educated in France, Amir settled in Germany in 1997, gaining experience early in his career in a variety of roles ranging from Account Manager to Strategic Planner to Art Director and Designer at agencies such as TBWA, Barci & Partner and Springer & Jacoby. At Springer & Jacoby, Amir advanced from Copywriter to Creative Director and finally to Executive Creative Director on the global Mercedes-Benz and smart accounts.
In 2003, Amir joined DDB as Chief Creative Officer and Associate Partner of DDB Germany, where he quickly helped reshape the agency. After joining the agency as one the youngest Chief Creative Officer’s in the History. he quickly transformed it into one of the most creative and successful agencies in the World. Under Amir’s leadership, DDB Germany has also been ranked the most awarded German agency in the History of the Gunn Report.
Between 2011 and 2019 Kassaei was leading DDB Worldwide with 250 offices and 18000 people as the youngest and first no American Global Chief Creative Officer. During that period DDB was among the most awarded and innovative Advertising networks in the world.
In 2017 he founded the dedicated marketing communication Agency for the car Brand Seat in Barcelona, Spain. Under his leadership Seat became the fastest growing car brand in Europe and the Seat Brand became one of the most wanted car brands in the world. By the end of 2019 Catorce had more than 400 people with offices in Spain, Uk, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico and Poland.
He is with over 8000 national and international awards one of the most awarded advertising creatives in the history. Amir has taught at such famous advertising schools as the Miami Ad School, spoken at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership and served as a Professor at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences.
In 2020 and almost after 30 years in Business he retired for the Advertisng industry. He is now an Entrepreneur, Teacher Founder, Investor, Author and Speaker.
