
Daniel Scheibel
Faculty Profile
Daniel is the co-founder and technology director of Red Paper Heart, a Brooklyn-based design studio specializing in interactive experiences that inspire joy and wonder. Since 2011 Red Paper Heart explores the potential of new technologies by combining physical activity and art in novel ways to create award-winning installations for clients such as Google, Ford and HBO.
Always interested in art and math, Daniel found his love for interactive technologies early on. He studied Multimedia Design and Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg, Germany. Before founding Red Paper Heart, Daniel was a senior developer at Big Spaceship in New York. After more than a decade in the United States, Daniel moved back to Europe in 2020.
