Breck Hancock

Ms. Hancock is the Chief Legal & Operating Officer at DST Global, joining the team in 2014. DST Global is a private, growth equity fund backed by leading global financial institutions. DSTG focuses its investments exclusively on the Internet sector and technology companies.

Ms. Hancock is a leading and trusted expert in advising private equity and venture capital fund clients across a broad range of industries on domestic and international corporate financial matters, including Internet and technology companies, defense contractors, software companies, financial service companies, and distributors and manufacturers of consumer products. In particular, Ms. Hancock focuses on structured financings, including primary, direct secondary and liquidity program offerings for late-stage, private technology companies.

In 2014, Ms. Hancock was named as a New York Law Journal's Rising Star, an award that is given to attorneys under the age of 40 that have made a positive change to the legal community, and as an M&A Advisor "40 Under 40" awardee. Ms. Hancock was also listed as one of the New York "Super Lawyers" in 2013 and again in 2014.

Ms. Hancock serves as a Director on the Board of each of the Breakthrough Prize Foundation and the Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences Foundation, private foundations dedicated to celebrating scientists and inspiring the next generation.
