Parham Holakouee

Parham Holakouee is a professor at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology.

He has worked as a law and policy advisor to several governments and a strategic advisor to prominent non-profit multinational organizations. Through these advisory roles, he has worked on legal and regulatory reforms to stimulate entrepreneurship and innovation-focused economic growth. He has also developed educational curricula targeting better alignment between what is taught in schools and what is demanded by the economy of the future.

He has served as an economic consultant to several companies and as a professor at several universities. He previously worked as a corporate transactional attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.

Parham received his B.A. and MBA at UCLA, his J.D. from Columbia Law School, his M.S. from UC Berkeley, and is completing his Ph.D. at UC Berkeley where he is working on academic research that integrates econometrics, securities regulation, corporate law, and behavioral economics.

Beyond his university teaching, Parham lectures on a wide range of subjects including leadership, entrepreneurship, business strategy, microeconomics, game theory, negotiation, communication, creativity, and critical thinking.
