Tiziana Alocci is an award-winning data visualization artist, designer, and creative director based in London. With over a decade of experience in transforming complex datasets into compelling visual narratives, she specializes in data-driven storytelling, digital experiences, and immersive data art.
As the founder of NECESSITY, a female-led data visualization studio, Tiziana collaborates with leading brands, museum institutions, and publications, bringing a unique approach that merges design, technology, and emotion. Her work has been exhibited internationally and commissioned by The National Gallery, Lufthansa Group, The British Library, Unit London, and Condenast, blending scientific precision with artistic expression to craft impactful visual experiences.
Beyond her studio practice, Tiziana is a public speaker, lecturer, and TED speaker, regularly presenting at international design conferences and academic institutions. She is passionate about education and mentorship, teaching workshops and courses that explore data-driven design for digital products.
Her work is deeply biographical and research-driven, focusing on the emotional dimension of data, making the invisible tangible through sound, motion, and interactive visualizations.
